Will a 'Friends' Reboot Ever Happen? Show's Creator Weighs In...

With all the talk about an upcoming reunion with almost all of the Friends cast, the show’s co-creator Marta Kauffman opened up about the possibility of a reboot show!

Unfortunately, don’t expect to see Jennifer Aniston (Rachel), Courteney Cox (Monica), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), David Schwimmer (Ross), Matthew Perry (Chandler), and Matt LeBlanc (Joey) on TV all together again.

“For me, why go back to that territory again?” Marta told Us Weekly. “I get to do [on new show Grace and Frankie] what I loved about Friends, which is, make a show that’s got some hope and joy to it and explore something completely new. That was about a certain time in your life, and I had just left [the] Friends time of my life. This is about the time of my life I’m looking towards.”

As much as I love Friends. Everyone needs to move on from it. The cast pretty much wants nothing to do with it.

While it pains me to say so, I think it is a wise choice because none of them want to ruin how good it was. There would be so many expectations for it to be amazing, and people might get disappointed.

Oh my gosh!! Can you please stop talking about this show! It was okay at best but not the greatest show on television! I rather see Will & Grace, Steinfeld, Home Improvement, Frasier, Cheers, Drew Carey Show or any other 90′s sitcom reruns replace the Friends reruns. Give it a d@mn rest!

The cast of Friends did the absolute smartest thing… they quit the show while they were ahead, and they just let it live on as something people loved instead of ruining it with some reunion show that would only let people down.
