Zac Efron Apologizes For Controversial MLK Day Tweet
Zac Efron has apologized for a controversial tweet he posted on Martin Luther King Day.
The 28-year-old actor was criticized for writing in the now deleted tweet, “I’m grateful for a couple things today. Martin Luther King Jr & 10 million followers on IG.”
Zac took to Twitter the next day to apologize for his comments.
“I have nothing but the greatest admiration and respect for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.,” he wrote. “I realize that last night’s post was completely insensitive and I apologize to anyone who I may have offended. So sorry.”
