The casts of the shows Friends and The Big Bang Theory meet up for one epic group photo at the taping of the NBC special Must See TV: A Tribute to James Burrows on Sunday (January 24) in Los Angeles.

Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer were all in attendance to honor the frequent Friends director while Matthew Perry couldn’t be there as he was in London doing a play.

Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, and Simon Helberg were there to represent the cast of their CBS sitcom.

“Ummmm NIGHT MADE. Can’t breathe #friends meets #bbt @bigbangtheory_cbs I died and went to heaven,” Kaley captioned the photo on Instagram.

James is being honored with the television special for directing 1,000 episodes of television including the two previously mentioned shows, Cheers, Frasier, Taxi, Two and a Half Men, Will & Grace, and many more. The special will air on February 21!

BET was created in response to people of color not getting jobs at the other channels.

Case in point Friends. Friends did not have a black person on that show until the 10th and last season.

Big Bang Theory is not so white. The main cast contains a person of Indian descent. Plus Regina King has a recurring role. Plus numerous special appearances by person of color actors. TBBT is not as bad a Friends was.

Bla, bla, bla,..Blacks always want their cake and to eat too

Some black TV shows throughout the years, over 55 black TV shows that have aired network majority black casts.

    Sanford and Sons. 72- 77
    Good Times. 74-79
The Fresh Prince Bel Air 90- 96
    Cosby show … 84-92
    Different World …… 87 -93
    The Jeffersons …… 75 -85

BET was created 30 years ago and still all black TV, why isn’t it forced open, show more tv with other ” people of colour “

O please like Friend’s the main cast is majority one race and show’s from the perspective of that race.

And Friends is half comedy show like ……….Blackish .. Not a hour drama.

  • Too Funny.

    Wow….room full of estrogen.

David, Matt, Lisa and Courteney look not fun.
Jen is the only who became a bigger star
    comparing to the Friends times.
    So her laugh is sincere.

Let’s do some math and let’s pretend there were no cable channels.
Back in the day there were just three channels. Each channel put on 3 primetime shows each day (7 days)
7 times 3 shows a day = 21 tv shows for each channel
    21 times 3 channels = 63 shows in a season
From 1972 to 1996 is 24 years. (I’m using the years under your comment)
24 years times 63 shows each season = 1512 shows
So out of 1512 shows according to you 55 shows has a mostly African American cast.
    That is a lousy .04
I don’t think that is having your cake and eating it too

BTW you can have BET. I’m sure if you started watching the channel they will change their casting to fit their new viewers needs.
