Paul Kantner Dead - Jefferson Airplane Guitarist Dies at 74
Paul Kantner, one of the co-founders of the band Jefferson Airplane, has died at the age of 74.
The former rocker suffered a heart attack this week and he died on Thursday (January 28). His rep told the San Francisco Gate that he “died of multiple organ failure and septic shock.”
Jefferson Airplane, for which Paul played guitar, was prominent in the mid-1960s and they had such hit songs as “Somebody to Love” and “White Rabbit.”
