'MacGyver' Reboot Given Pilot Order by CBS!

A reboot of the classic series MacGyver might be headed to CBS!

The network has just ordered a pilot for a “reimagining of the television series of the same name, following a 20-something MacGyver as he gets recruited into a clandestine organization where he uses his knack for solving problems in unconventional ways to help prevent disasters from happening,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The original MacGyver series debuted in 1985 and starred Richard Dean Anderson. It ran on ABC for 139 episodes throughout seven seasons and two television movies were also created.

Henry Winkler, the same guy who played Fonzie on Happy Days, executive produced the original series and he will also have that role on the reboot series.

WHAT DO YOU THINK about CBS doing a reboot of MacGyver?

hollywood and his stupid habit of do remakes. for What this remake?, the original series is perfect and does not need a remake. rather than waste time and money doing remakes, these producers should try to create something new, something different, something that has not been done before, anyway.
