Colgate Super Bowl Commercial 2016: Every Drop Counts

For the first time, Colgate has jumped in the Super Bowl Commercial frenzy by debuting their new PSA style commercial called ‘#EveryDropCounts’.

The new 30-second spot barely even shows Colgate’s main product, toothpaste, but instead centers on encouraging their viewers to turn off the faucet while brushing your teeth.

The new touching ad is an adaptation to an older 60-second Colgate ad that was originally created by Y&R Peru for the brand in Latin America, back in 2014.

According to the new Super Bowl spot, Colgate is hoping that by turning off the faucet, we could save nearly 3,000 gallons of water a year.

Right on Colgate. We’ve got a water crisis in this world, and now in this country. We need to be as proactive as possible about clean water, in getting it to people who desperately need it and going after these greedy SOB politicians who are destroying our own water that is leading to women having miscarriages and Americans getting sick and potentially dying.
