Hyundai Super Bowl Commercial 2016: Kid with V8 Engine Heart!

Hyundai‘s new Super Bowl commercial is simply titled “Better” – but is it?

The ad features a baby with an exposed V8 engine heart. He, played by actor George Finn, grows up and starts to work at the Hyundai design studio alongside colleagues with similar anatomical features. The commercial aims to show that the company is filled with people who are working tirelessly to make the world a better place.

The commercial’s log line reads, “The drive for better. Some people are born with it, making them a little more determined, a little more considerate. Better is what they strive to be. At Hyundai, better is why we do what we do. Better is why we make the cars that we make. Better is the engine that drives us.”

FYI: The song featured in the commercial is called “When I Was A Boy” from Electric Light Orchestra (ELO)’s Jeff Lynne, off his 2015 album Alone in the Universe.
