Best Original Song Nominees Sam Smith & The Weeknd Attend Academy Awards 2016 Luncheon

Sam Smith looks handsome in plaid while stepping out at the 2016 Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon on Monday afternoon (February 8) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 23-year-old powerhouse singer was joined by fellow nominee The Weeknd.

Both Sam and The Weeknd are up for Best Original Song, the former for “Writing’s on the Wall” from the Spectre soundtrack, and the latter for his track “Earned It” from the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack.
