Jennifer might easily be the girl who attends university while she enjoys Saturday mornings with a walk amongst the fine china sets and antique furniture at the museum.
Short sleeved shirt and shorts? – It’s possible the Da Vinci exhibit is a little squeamish with the general public, although for her it wouldn’t be unbearably difficult to endure.

Jennifer Lawrence bashes Christians as ‘Holding Their Crucifixes’ Like ‘Pitchforks’ (Vogue). If she had spoken about Jews it would be considered racist. She also mocks your religion in another interview by saying Planned Parenthood had all “I needed as a normal teenager who was growing up in a Jesus house (Glamour).” She has a clear contempt for conservative values. She admires Jane Fonda but has nothing good to say about you! Boycott!

but she is a Christian, she was raised Catholic I think it was just forced down her throat a bit and in a way pulled away from it a little bit. But she still is a Christian

It doesn’t sound like it. How do you know. She didn’t criticizes Christians and then say but I am one to. She even mocks them with the Jesus House comment. I wish you were right but I don’t think so.

She said that in the context of a specific person who doesn’t do her job and refuses to give out marriage licenses to gay couples even though federal law dictates that she needs to. It is the behavior of some who are overly judgemental that she was speaking up against not all Christians. Her parents are Christian and she may or may not still consider herself one–don’t know–but it wasn’t an admonishment of everyone.

  • Russell Quinn

Her words were ‘Holding Their Crucifixes’ Like ‘Pitchforks. Not just one person.

And from what she has said about growing up in a “Jesus House” she doesn’t respect Christian beliefs. If someone said about Jews or Hindu ‘Holding Their (whatever scared object)’ Like ‘Pitchforks’ That would be considered bigoted.

She also says ‘I’m from Kentucky I know who they are.’ She hasn’t met them she just know who they are because she lived their. So she hasn’t meet the KD followers she’s speaking from past experience on other issues. That speaks to a dislike a Christians.

I am aware of what she said having read the interview when it came out. There is a difference between judgmental Christians that use their beliefs to intimidate and hurt others and ones that just believe and live their life (same with any other system). She was speaking to a specific kind of Christian that does that kind of thing. Again her family is Christian so she isn’t condemning everyone. Whatever though I don’t want to argue. Hopefully you get the difference. Have a good day!

I’ve an antiAmerican relative but he has an American friend. He hates Americans. Hate is an inconsistent emotion. She loves her family perhaps because they are her family. Otherwise she hates most Christian or at least many Christians. Its wrong to hate like she does. Hate is not okay.

  • Russell Quinn

KD is wrong. But so are JL words. They are hateful. I know Christian who back KD. They are misguided but kind people. They don’t deserve the hate. Hate won’t make this country better. We should all stop the hate. Boycott JLAW!

Jennifer Lawrence is one of the most down to earth person and A-List actress in the world. What she said about Christianity is just a saying, she does not come across as bashing the Christians. I was a Christian before I converted to Muslim so I am very open about religion. Please give her a break!
