Adele Covers 'Vogue' March 2016, Discusses Her Weight Loss

Adele looks flawless while posing for the cover of Vogue‘s March 2016 issue, on newsstands February 23.

Here is what the 27-year-old singer had to share with the mag:

On writing her age in her notebook and realizing she turned 25: “I was just shocked that all of a sudden I was 25! But actually, I like myself more than ever. I feel so comfortable in my own skin. I really like how I look, I like who I am, I like everyone that I surround myself with.”

On being a mom: “I can’t have any other junk in my head to worry about as well. [Angelo] makes me very proud of myself. When I became a parent, I felt like I was truly living. I had a purpose, where before I didn’t… My main thing is Mum, then it’s me, then it’s work. I think I had to take the right amount of time off to let people miss me.”

On her weight loss and newfound shopping habit: “I was trying to get some stamina for my tour, so I lost a bit of weight. Now I fit into normal, off-the-shelf clothes”which is really a big problem for me!”

FYI: Adele is wearing a Burberry dress and Dior Fine Jewelry earrings on the cover. She is wearing a Gucci dress in the first photo and an Alexander McQueen dress on the couch.

I am so glad we have Adele as an escape from crap music and inspiration!

that’s sad she didn’t feel like she had a purpose or was truly living before popping out a kid. women too often equate motherhood with purpose, like it’s the best thing a woman can do/have in their life. that kind of mindset is the reason why life has sucked for women for so long – holding up that idea that giving birth is the most wonderful thing a woman can do.

  • Arx

    Queen of music!

How discussing her weight loss when she doesn’t look like she did? Give the woman a break with her weight. If she’s fat, she’s fat. She has a lot of talent instead. If Hollyweird was about weight I’d be number one champion because I eat and I don’t gain weight and I have a toned body without going much to the gym :D

  • xica

That’s true. I used to think that too. But after watching my sister with her baby I know it also means a lot of sacrifice and kids also bring problems and sometimes they dont turn out well. So I wish to have kids someday but if I don’t have them it’s ok too. What women need is to have someone to not feel lonely as they get old.

  • Mia

Cover looks great. Love Adele. She is so down to earth and real. I am glad the cover did not go to Kendall or Gigi as that was the rumor.

  • Conte435

She looks good on the cover.

Talent and smarts, without the massive it’s all about me ego.

  • Cathe75

Seriously….LOL. You know for some people having kids is the epitome of hapiness. That is not sad. Every single person has goals and stuff that will bring them to the epitome of hapiness. The most wonderful thing for each one of us is different and that’s the beauty of life. For some it’s travelling, work, art….KIDS, etc.

Also…I just don’t understand the argument about having to sacrifice your life….Gurl….in life you will see that even if you don’t have kids you might have to sacrifice your life for other things that won’t necessarly end up well. That’s just life. And you just fucked you entire “kinda argument” by saying that woman need someone to not feel lonely. Lol I know people who can spend weeeeeeks alone and I know it won’t change with age, it just goes with each individual personality.

  • xica

What’s your problem? I agree with you on everything. First thing to say, I didn’t say it was sad the fact that people’s epitome of happiness was having a kid. I don’t care if their epitome of happiness is having a child. That’s just not mine right now.
Secondly, I wasn’t born yesterday. I also know you have to sacrifice your life for many things that may not turn out well but I don’t feel like sacrificing mine right now for a kid. Who knows in the future?
And finally, everyone is different but it is also different to spend weeks alone from spending your entire life alone. That’s what I was refering to.

She’s definitely lost weight. But she’s been doing weight training as well though, which adds muscle.

  • tiny bossy

Yeah, cuz you are a man.

  • tiny bossy

Amen! Kids bring huge happiness and positive energy and some kind of unconditional love…imo.

Superficial AF. First of all, Adele is not a part of Hollywood and not a part of shallow American culture. Second, the whole world doesn’t care about her weight. I am sure this incredible woman works out for her health and voice.
Adele has a musical gift, unique voice and timbre, range, great education. So she can be as fat as she wants anyway she will get her Grammies, Oscars and 10000000000000 times platinum albums.

  • Oracle 69

Not a fan of singing snowmen or online marketing comment trolls. Once you push these two elements aside there isn’t anything of any valued substance left to the phantom media entity now known as Adele.

God for you adele! keep shedding those pounds off and be the healthiest version of yourself!
