Alexander Skarsgard Questions Lack of Diversity Among Actors: 'There's A Problem'
Alexander Skarsgard strikes a silly pose while attending the photo call for his latest film War On Everyone held during the 2016 Berlin Film Festival at the Grand Hyatt Hotel on Friday (February 12) in Berlin, Germany.
The 39-year-old actor was joined at the event by his co-star Michael Pena and producer of the flick Chris Clark.

During their press conference, Alexander and Michael opened up about their thoughts on the on-going 2016 Oscars diversity issue.
“There are 20 actors nominated and they’re all white,” Alexander expressed (via THR). “I can’t point to one performance, and say, ‘That guy or that girl shouldn’t have been nominated.’ But systematically, yes, there’s a problem, that there’s not more diversity, that there’s not movies with great characters and roles for people that aren’t white.”
“I don’t think it’s about the Academy that discriminated against one actor or one group for a specific performance, or a movie that was supposed to deserve more nominations,” Michael added. “There’s not enough stories told by people that aren’t white.”
