Jaime King Says 'Squad' Is About Friendship, Not Inclusiveness
Jaime King wears a blue jumpsuit while attending the Monse fashion show held during New York Fashion Week on Friday (February 12) at the High Line Hotel in New York City.
The former Hart of Dixie actress was joined at the show by Emmy Rossum, Alison Brie, and Pete Wentz.
Jaime was also in attendance at the Cushnie et Ochs show that day, where she was seen sitting next to Jennifer Hudson and Serayah in the front row.
While speaking to E! News during fashion week, Jaime opened up about the use of the word “squad.”
“I don’t really believe in the word ‘squad’ as something that’s, like, inclusive, this idea that…’You can’t sit with us’ type of thing,” Jaime said. “The idea of a squad is really the idea of friendship and the idea that everybody’s welcome, the idea that women should be supporting other women and that’s something that’s really important…everyone knows I’m quite the feminist and I really believe that.”
