Vanessa Hudgens Cast in NBC's DC Comics Pilot 'Powerless'!

Vanessa Hudgens has joined the cast of NBC’s DC Comics comedy pilot Powerless!

The 27-year-old actress will play the role of Emily Locke, an insurance claims adjuster. Emily loves her job but likes to keep under the radar and do her work. “She finds herself increasingly exasperated by the disruptive antics of the various Super Heroes that proliferate in her city,” THR reports.

This is Vanessa‘s first role after her critically acclaimed performance in Grease: Live last month. This role also marks her first TV series regular role.
