George Kennedy Dead - 'Cool Hand Luke' Actor Dies at 91

George Kennedy, best known for his work in the movie Cool Hand Luke, has died at the age of 91.

The actor won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor back in 1968 for his work in the movie and he was also well known for his roles in Airport and three of the Naked Gun movies.

George died on Sunday morning (February 28) at 4:30am in Boise, Idaho, his grandson told TMZ.

After his wife Joan died over a year ago, George‘s health has been failing and he spent the last month of his life under hospice care.
