Oscars 2016 Ratings Mark Second Lowest Ever in Viewership
The ratings are in for the 2016 Academy Awards and the total amount of viewers is the second lowest amount in history for the awards show.
34.3 million viewers tuned in for the show on Sunday night (February 28), down from last year’s total of 37.26 million people.
The least-watched show in Oscars history was in 2008 when Jon Stewart hosted. 32 million people tune in for that year’s awards.
