Helen Mirren Opens Up About Finding the Love of Her Life

Helen Mirren films a scene for her movie Collateral Beauty with co-star Will Smith at a subway station on Monday (March 14) in New York City.

The 70-year-old Oscar-winning actress had an interview air on The Today Show the next day and she opened up about falling in love with husband Taylor Hackford at age 38.

“I don’t have much life left, do I?” Helen said. “So, I hope he’s the love of my life.”

“The great thing about finding a partnership later on [in life] is that you recognize it as such,” she added. “You recognize the partnership level of this relationship as much as the love and the lust and all the rest of it.”
