Daisy Ridley Confirms Talks About Lara Croft Role in 'Tomb Raider' Movie

Daisy Ridley just confirmed that she is indeed in talks to play Lara Croft in an upcoming Tomb Raider reboot film!

The 23-year-old actress told THR there “have been conversations” about her taking on the role, though nothing has been offered and there is currently no script.

“I’m waiting for someone to say ‘I want you, let’s do it’,” Daisy added. “Absolutely, I’m trying to fill up my calendar,” she continued, despite having a busy Star Wars filming schedule.

“I played Tomb Raider the game, it’s a new take and I think the movies are going to be based on that version,” Daisy‘s Star Wars co-star John Boyega said. “But I texted Daisy [and] was like, ‘this is you!’ and ‘you need to get on that because you could be Lara Croft.’ She should be.”
