'Batman v Superman' London Premiere Not Cancelled in Light of Brussels Terror Attacks

The London premiere of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will go on this evening (March 22), despite the tragic terror attacks that took place in Brussels earlier.

“Our hearts go out to the victims of recent terrorist attacks, their families and the communities impacted around the world. Rather than yield to terror, we’ve decided to join the film’s fans and move forward with the London premiere of Batman v. Superman this evening,” Warner Bros. said in a statement (via THR).

The red carpet for the event has been cancelled for safety reasons.

Batman v Superman is set to hit theaters this Friday, and stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, and Jesse Eisenberg.

Acts of terrorism also cancelled some stuff for The Dark Knight Rises. Good for them for not cancelling.

Nor should it be. As sad as what happened in Brussels is, the world shouldn’t have to be put on hold.
