Rob Ford Dead - Former Toronto Mayor Dies at 46 After Battling Cancer

Rob Ford, the former mayor of Toronto, has passed away at the age of 46 after battling pleomorphic liposarcoma, a rare form of cancer, Variety reports.

You may remember years ago, the mayor made headlines when video surfaced showing his allegedly smoking crack cocaine. He entered rehab shortly after.

At the time of his death, Rob was serving on the city council at Etobicoke North. Before being elected mayor in 2010, Rob spent a decade with city council as well. He served as Toronto’s mayor from 2010 to 2014.
