Tove Lo Talks 'Close' Collab With Nick Jonas: 'It Was Awesome'

Nick Jonas leaves The Nice Guy with a couple of friends on Friday night (March 25) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 23-year-old musician celebrated the release of his new single, “Close“, which is flying up the charts after dropping both the track and video.

Collaborator Tove Lo spoke with EW about working with Nick on the song and video.

“Watching him really giving it all triggered me to do the same,” she shared. “You feed off each other’s energy. We were both covered in mud, bruised up, and bleeding by the end of the shoot—but still with big smiles on our faces. It was awesome.”

Tove added about Nick personally, “I’ve known Nick as a friend for a couple of years, and working with him was amazing. He’s very talented and I fell in love with the song as soon as I heard the demo.”
