Police Say Knife Found at O.J. Simpson's Home Was Not Murder Weapon
After a knife found on the property of O.J. Simpson‘s former home was turned into police last month, an investigation was opened into whether the weapon was involved in the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson.
The police have now revealed to People that the knife was not involved with the crime.
“We did all kinds of forensic tests. We did DNA, blood, fibers. Everything that it could be tested for. The testing came back and based on the testing there is no nexus to the double homicide at this time and the case remains open,” LAPD Captain Andrew Neiman explained.
He added that the department took the situation seriously, but do not know what they will do with the knife now that the testing has come back negative.
