Cameron Diaz Talks Growing Older: 'There's No Secret to Aging Well'
Cameron Diaz leaves Good Morning America and heads to the Z100 studios to promote her book “The Longevity Book” on Tuesday (April 5) in New York City.
The 43-year-old actress’ book is about growing up and ageing, and she divulged some of her philosophies on the morning show.
“As we get older, there are phases of life that we enter into and I was entering the phase of 40. I started getting a lot of questions about, was I scared to turn 40?” Cameron said. “I started asking…why should I be afraid?
“What I learned is that aging is really about living,” Cameron added. “I feel very grateful that I get to turn another year older because not everybody does. Not everybody gets to grow old.”
“There’s no secret to aging well,” Cameron continued. “There’s a basic way of doing it and it’s called living. It’s how well you live…how well you take care of yourself. There are five pillars of well-being. It’s good nutrition, good movement of the body, good night’s sleep, stress release and meaningful, connected, loving relationships.”
