Julia Louis-Dreyfus Plays Elaine Again for 'SNL' Cold Open!

Julia Louis-Dreyfus gets into character as her classic Seinfeld character Elaine Benes while appearing in the cold open for her episode of Saturday Night Live on Saturday (April 17) in New York City.

The Emmy-winning actress reprised her role to ask Bernie Sanders (played by Seinfeld creator Larry David) questions at a rally.

After asking “Bernie” how he is going to break up big banks, Julia‘s final question was, “You believe that the super rich should pay more in taxes. But wouldn’t that be bad for actors who made a lot of money on a certain very successful sitcom? Would it be even worse for the person who created that sitcom? I mean, wouldn’t he lose a lot of money?”

Larry responded by saying, “You should vote for her!” while pointing at Kate McKinnon as Hillary Clinton.
