'Game of Thrones' Season Six Premiere Confirms Jon Snow's Fate (Spoilers)

SPOILER ALERT! Don’t continue reading if you don’t want to know anything from tonight’s Game of Thrones premiere.

“Is Jon Snow Dead?” has been one of the biggest questions this past year, and the Game of Thrones season six premiere just confirmed that he is in fact deceased.

At the beginning of the episode, Jon Snow (Kit Harington)’s dead body is seen, picking up right where season five left off. We can hear his wolf Ghost howls in mourning, signaling his death. Kit‘s character was killed off at the end of season five, and some were hoping he would be resurrected in some way, but nothing of the sort happened in the premiere.

DID YOU WATCH the Game of Thrones season six premiere??

But the red woman was with him for awhile, then she looked ancient, when she laid down to sleep, like ALL of her energy was gone. What was up with that?

    so skip this.

Unfortunately I’m so over this show. Now I understand why ppl reading the books before the show started feeling like it was medieval soap opera after A Storm of Swords. I love the female characters even more than most the males, but all the important dudes are dead. That’s weak. This show’s got an “And The There Was One” feeling to it about this throne that doesn’t even seem that powerful anymore. I guess we’ll see

You can’t read the books ahead of the show or you’ll be let down.

Fuck you and your spoiler in title

  • 777

Right? I was watching while asking myself “is she killing herself?”

  • Visitor

The author has described the books as a medieval soap opera so that’s not really offensive.

  • Visitor

The issue wasn’t whether he died, but whether he’d stay dead. He’ll most likely be resurrected in some capacity.

  • leeloo

In my opinion, until his body isn’t burnt to ashes, he’s not gone!

  • onlywatching

I think she was just revealing her true self and age ..and i guess the extend of her powers

if she did something to Jon Snow while she was in the room i’m sure that would’ve been important to show the viewers

  • onlywatching

ha! i now wonder if that’s why they weren’t letting the others get to the body. Usually they show the burning right after the character dies…HMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!

haha i hate getting caught up in analyzing every little thing on this show. I just enjoy watching it
