Johnny Manziel To Be Indicted for Assault Charge Against Ex Girlfriend Colleen Crowley

Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel has been indicted on a misdemeanor assault with bodily injury charge after hitting ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley last year, according to CBS News.

The 23-year-old athlete is accused of hitting Colleen while driving to her home in Fort Worth, Texas after a night out at a Dallas bar. At the time of the assault, Colleen apparently tried to jump out of the moving car to get away to safety, but he dragged her back into the car and hit her.

According to reports, Colleen was heard saying “I’m scared for my life!”

Johnny spent months in rehab last year and was cut from the Browns this past March after a series of inconsistent play and off field concerns with regards to partying.
