Chloe Moretz Opens Up About Going Against Gender Norms in Movies

Chloe Moretz heads out of The Nice Guy with a gal pal late last month in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 19-year-old actress made it a girl’s night out after returning from Europe. Singer Pia Mia was also spotted at the venue.

Speaking with Glamour mag (which she covers), Chloe opened up about seeking out roles that are blasting stereotypes.

“With movies like Kick-Ass, Carrie, and Let Me In, I was able to push boundaries at a really young age…now that I’m able to get projects funded, curate scripts, and make movies, it means a lot to me to go against gender norms,” she shared.

Chloe added, “My biggest thing now is making gender-equalizing movies, where you can put a male actor or a female actor in that role, and it would work the same way.”
