Connie Britton & Sophia Bush Support Lupita Nyong'o At 'Eclipsed'!
The 49-year-old actress was joined by Sophia Bush and Urban Cowboy B&B representative Jersey Banks as they showed their support.
“Patience Jacob. Awa Abughe. These are the names of the 2 Nigerian girls acknowledged last night at the astonishing #Eclipsed on Broadway,” Connie captioned with her Instagram post. “They, along with their schoolmates in Chibok, were abducted by the Boko Haram, and have been missing for 765 days. Amazingly today we are getting a report of the first girl found since the abduction. She is traumatized and pregnant. And thank you to the incredible cast of @eclipsedbway for giving girls like these a face, a name, humanity. #knowhername #bringbackourgirls”
“The importance of @eclipsedbway cannot be overstated,” Sophia added. “The beauty of this play that personalizes, and personifies, the stories of women in a war-torn region, highlighting the #BringBackOurGirls abduction, reminding audiences that 219 girls from that school group are still held captive by Boko Haram, is something I fear I can’t adequately describe.”
