'The Blacklist' Spoilers: Is Megan Boone's Liz Alive or Dead?

Something major was revealed on the season three finale of The Blacklist, which aired on NBC on Thursday night (May 19).

It was revealed that Megan Boone‘s character Liz had died in an episode last month and her life was celebrated in a funeral. Her character was pregnant, just like the actress in real life, and she died after giving birth to her child.

It was revealed that Liz is actually alive and she reunited with her husband Tom (Ryan Eggold) and their newborn daughter in a scene near the end of the episode!

While James Spader‘s character Red thought that Liz was actually dead, it was also revealed that the fake death was orchestrated by Kate Kaplan. She helped Liz fake her death by being put into an induced coma to save her from the evil Alexander Kirk.

Well, the plan was foiled when Kirk followed Tom to Cuba where he reunited with Liz.

The episode ended with Kirk capturing Liz. He wouldn’t tell her where her husband and daughter are and also revealed that he is actually Liz’s father.
