Anne Hathaway Apologizes After Throwing 'Unintended' Shade at Kardashians

Anne Hathaway has offered up an apology after posting a photo which accidentally shaded the Kardashians, and caused quite a stir in her Instagram comments.

The 33-year-old Oscar winner shared a photo of her Alice Through the Looking Glass co-star Helena Bonham Carter with the caption, “In a world of Kardashians… Be a Helena Bonham Carter.”

After the backlash, Anne removed the photo and replaced with one that read, “Post removed for unintended shade thrown,” with the caption, “It never occurred to me I was pitting anyone against each other. Not my style. Peace x”

The Kardashian family has not offered their reaction to the post.
