'The Fast & the Furious' to be Re-Released in Theaters for 15th Anniversary

The original The Fast and the Furious film is set to be re-released in theaters this summer to celebrate the film’s 15th anniversary!

The studio announced today that the film will return to theaters on June 22 for a limited nationwide run to commemorate the milestone.

“Fifteen years ago my life changed forever. Dom was born… Little did I know back then what that really meant,” the film’s star Vin Diesel told EW in a statement. “The brotherhood formed with Brian, the love personified in Letty and the sense of family initiated by Mia… It is surreal that this film has held up all the years and led to so much more. Proud of our Fast saga family. From studio to crew, thank you all.”

Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, and more also starred in the original 2001 movie.

For f**ck sake. Stop using Paul’s name for money. That move only poved that -along with Vin- they are all hypocrites. No wonder why Paul wanted to leave the movies and that ‘family’. Show some respect to that man!

Can we end this franchise already?…for crying out loud, Vin Diesel knows this is his ONLY cash cow, the guy can’t act. This was a crap film to begin with, the fact it has made it to this many sequels confounds me. The death of one of its stars (from speeding might I add, which people seem to just gloss over, like as if the man was innocently shot down in the street) doesn’t seem stop this juggernaut of talent-less crap from continuing.
