Ariana Grande Tearfully Cancels Show Due to Illness
Ariana Grande has canceled her upcoming performance at Rock in Rio set for Sunday (May 29) in Lisbon, Portugal.
The 22-year-old “Dangerous Woman” singer took to Twitter the night before the concert to share that she had a throat and sinus infection and had been advised by her doctors to take a short break from singing.
“I’m deeply saddened to tell my babes in Portugal that I have to cancel my performance at Rock in Rio. (I’ve literally been crying over this for an hour),” Ariana wrote. “I promise to make it up to you, and to give you the best show I’m capable of when I return.”
