The Shield's Michael Jace Convicted of Second-Degree Murder in Killing Wife April

Michael Jace has been convicted of second-degree murder in the shooting of his wife April back in 2014, THR reports.

The trial lasted a week, and the verdict was read by the jury on Tuesday (May 31).

Michael admitted to killing his wife, but lawyers argued he should be charged with voluntary manslaughter because it was not premeditated.

Michael was reportedly upset that his wife wanted a divorce so he shot her in the back and legs. Michael argued that he did not want to kill his wife, he just wanted to inflict pain.
