Kanye West's Governor's Ball Show Cancelled Due to Weather

Kim Kardashian heads out of The Lion King on Broadway after enjoying a performance with Kanye West and their daughter North (not pictured) on Sunday (June 5) in New York City.

The 38-year-old entertainer was set to perform at the last day of the Governor’s Ball that afternoon, but was rained out and the show was cancelled.

“Sunday, June 5th of Gov Ball 2016 has officially been cancelled, due to severe weather and a high likelihood of lightning in the area. The safety of fans, artists and crew always comes first,” the statement from the festival read.

“So sad Governors Ball is cancelled due to weather,” Kim posted on Instagram.
