NBC's Savannah Guthrie Pregnant, Skipping Rio Olympics Over Zika Concerns
Today anchor Savannah Guthrie just announced she is expecting her second child.
The 44-year-old NBC anchor, who is married to Michael Feldman, revealed the news on the Today show on Tuesday (June 7).
In addition, Savannah announced she would no longer be going to Rio for the Summer Olympics, as pregnant women are at high risk to pass along birth-defects to babies if the Zika virus is contracted, THR reports.
“I’m not going to be able to go to Rio so you’ll have to go to beach volleyball without me,” Savannah said. “I’m looking forward to the campaign season.”
