Mackenzie Davis Joins Cast of 'Blade Runner' Sequel

Mackenzie Davis has landed a role in the upcoming Blade Runner sequel!

The 29-year-old actress is best known for her roles in the movies The Martian and That Awkward Moment, as well as the AMC series Halt and Catch Fire.

Nothing is known yet about the plot of the movie other than that it will take place decades after the original 1982 movie ended and that Harrison Ford is reprising his role as Rick Deckard, according to THR.

Joining the cast of the movie are Ryan Gosling, Dave Bautista, Ana de Armas, Carla Juri, and Robin Wright. The film will begin shooting in July.
