Colton Haynes Responds to Noah Galvin, Calls Comments 'Uncalled For' & 'Embarrassing'

Colton Haynes is speaking out to reveal his feelings on The Real O’Neals actor Noah Galvin‘s comments about the way he came out as gay.

The 27-year-old Arrow actor came out of the closet in an Entertainment Weekly interview one month ago and Noah, 22, called it “f–king p–sy bullsh-t.”

“It’s extremely ironic that only a month ago I was tweeting this kid and saying that he should win an Emmy for his work,” Colton wrote in a statement on his Instagram account. “Then today he returns the favor by calling me a p–sy and the worst to the entire world.”

“Let me just clarify, I’ve never met this kid, so for him to judge me without even meeting and having no idea the struggles I’ve been through or where I come from is absolutely uncalled for and quite frankly embarrassing on his part,” Colton continued. “Since when is a three page article in Entertainment Weekly not an appropriate way to come out? And since when did he become the judge of what’s appropriate. Shouldn’t we all be supporting each other? Enjoy all of your success. You’re young kid… hopefully you’ll eventually learn a thing or two. Good luck. I’m sure I’ll seeya around.”

Colton signed off by calling himself “Colton P–sy Haynes.”

Noah has since written an apology letter for the “brazen and hurtful” comments in his Vulture article.

    I’d is an a hole.

Noah is such a prick. But fortunately, Colton handled it well.

  • Kyle Millert

I mean, if you come out in a freaking paper you obviously want people to have an opinion. Otherwise you’d just live your life with truth and let people find out on their own. This not-Colton kid is clearly a prick, but opinions don’t have to be sweet, nor do all gay people have to blindly support one another. Being gay doesn’t mean you and another gay person will always be on the same side of every matter in life. There’s more to gay people than their gayness.

  • LindSAY

He is a total POS with a ugly ass face. I hope he never win an Emmy for his pathetic attempt at comedy.

  • Isabel

Vulture deleted it from the original article, too. He may be a pedophile but, like Allen, Polanski, and a number of others, he’s a powerful one surrounded by enablers who care more about money than the well-being of those getting preyed upon. Why do you think Elijah Wood quickly retracted the statements he made about pedophile rings among child stars? If he didn’t, he’d never work another day in Hollywood.

  • patricio rodriguez

    are you gay?

  • Tonja Mason

Dear Noah, this is what class looks like. Not only did Colton respond to your accusations by citing proof, he also gave you the benefit of the doubt – your youth – and did so in grammatically correct sentences devoid of profanity. Take note and follow his example.

    STFU Colton

  • eternalozzie

is it weird that i am more bothered by parents not teaching their teens not to prostitute themselves for movie roles?

  • eternalozzie

and you just became hateful just like him … good job.

  • eternalozzie

thank you … so many LGBT people like myself and others are hesitant to say things like that because of the backlash. Colton did what he did to reduce his anxiety that has crippled him his whole adult life by hiding who he is … it wasn’t done for attention.

  • beck0974

Or teach grown men to not prey on children.

  • eternalozzie

    That’s a given … i didn’t think i had to type that out.

What does it say about our kids that they will have sex with creepy people for fame. We are failing them.

  • beck0974

Child molestation isn’t “have sex”. You’re talking about kids that range in age from 6 or 7 to preteens and teens. They’re children.

  • LindSAY

I don’t think his level is rearchable.
