Selena Gomez Dedicates Song to Christina Grimmie, Breaks Down on Stage (Video)
Selena Gomez is overwhelmed with emotion in this new video from her Revival Tour concert at American Airlines Arena on Saturday night (June 11) in Miami, Fla.
The singer dedicated a song to her longtime friend Christina Grimmie, who tragically died the night before from a violent shooting at her meet-and-greet.
“One thing about Christina and her family is that she holds her faith so closely to her,” Selena told the crowd. “I think it’s not about a religion and it’s not about good deeds. I think she just had faith and I don’t really understand how this really happened, but I would like to dedicate this song to her.”

Also dedicating songs to Christina that evening at their respective shows were Charlie Puth, Fifth Harmony, and Rachel Platten. Click inside to see those videos too.
