Ellen DeGeneres is So Excited 'Finding Dory' is Finally in Theaters

Ellen Degeneres has been waiting 13 years for a sequel to Finding Nemo and the time has finally come for the release of Finding Dory!

During her talk show on Friday (June 17), Ellen expressed how excited she was that the film was finally in theaters and joked about how long it took to get there.

“I don’t know if I’ve ever been this excited. Today is the day…I can’t believe it’s been 13 years. I just kept swimming, I just kept swimming and finally we’re here,” she joked.

Ellen later added, “I’m so happy the day is finally here. When you’ve been waiting for something so long, it’s actually a little strange when it finally arrives. It’s like I guess when you’re waiting for your wedding day or results of a pregnancy test, only this is much more important.”

She also confirmed that there’s going to be a Finding Dory 2…even if “I have to draw it myself!”
