Tyler Hoechlin Is 'Honored' To Play Superman on 'Supergirl'

Tyler Hoechlin laughs it up during a Q&A session at the Supernova Convention on Friday (June 17) in Sydney, Australia.

It was just announced that the 28-year-old actor will play Superman on CW’s Supergirl and Tyler revealed the news at the event.

“Could not be more honored & humbled to be given the opportunity to play this incredible & beloved character,” Tyler shared on Twitter afterwards. “Can’t wait to get to work!”

Superman aka Clark Kent will make his first appearance in the first two episodes of the new season.
