P.M. Dawn Rapper Prince Be Dies at 46

P.M. Dawn rapper and singer Prince Be, also known as Attrell Cordes, sadly passed away on Friday (June 17) after a long battle with diabetes and renal kidney disease.

The influential ’90s musician died at a hospital in his home state of New Jersey, according to People.

“Prince Be Rest In Peace Forever More, Pain from diabetes can’t harm you anymore, My Heart is at Peace B-Cuz U suffered so long, Tell Grandma I said Hi & Stay Blisstatic & Strong. -Love Doc.G,” his cousin and P.M. Dawn member Gregory Lewis Car II wrote on their Instagram.

Attrell leaves behind his wife Mary and three children – Christian, Mia and Brandon.
