Ghostbusters' Leslie Jones Says No Designer Will Dress Her for Movie's Premiere

Leslie Jones, the star of the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot and one of the regulars on Saturday Night Live, took to Twitter to reveal that no designer would dress her for the movie’s upcoming premiere.

The 48-year-old comedian wrote on Twitter on Tuesday (June 28), “It’s so funny how there are no designers wanting to help me with a premiere dress for movie. Hmmm that will change and I remember everything.”

After posting the tweet, designer Christian Siriano posted a “waving” and raised hand emoji to indicate he may be interested.

The premiere is set to take place on July 9. You may remember, several years back, Leslie‘s Ghostbusters co-star Melissa McCarthy opened up and said no designer would make her Oscars gown.

Ghostbusters will hit theaters on July 15, 2016.

It’s not called shaming if she didn’t name any names

  • Roscoe

You are not familiar with or don’t understand the definition.

  • Omer

No honey, it’s the other way around. Go google it.

  • Roscoe

Nowhere in the definition does it state that one has to specifically name the person being shamed.

  • Omer

No. If there are no names, than no one is being shamed.
