Kirsten Dunst's 'Fargo' Role Was Inspired by Her Grandma
Kirsten Dunst dons a short navy dress as she makes her way back to her car on Thursday afternoon (June 30) in Los Angeles.
The 34-year-old actress was joined by her mom Inez Rupprecht as they made a stop to get some grocery shopping done.
Kirsten recently opened up about how her role in Fargo was inspired by her grandmother.
“Oh, I used everything. A little dash of my grandmother. My dreams. Things that annoy me. People on set. I used everything possible to give my character an inner life that felt grounded,” she explained.
Kirsten added that she wished her grandmother had lived to see the show. “My only wish is that my grandma could have seen it. She’s from Minnesota and she passed away before I did all this. That was the most heartbreaking thing for me watching it. My grandma would have gotten such a kick out of Fargo.”
