Briana Jungwirth Asks Louis Tomlinson's Fans to Stop Attacking Her Online

Briana Jungwirth, the mother of Louis Tomlinson‘s baby boy Freddie, has asked the singer’s fans to stop attacking her online.

The 23-year-old single mom, who is currently in the middle of a custody battle with her ex, released a statement on her Twitter account over the weekend.

“To all those who feel the need to make disparaging, hateful and inappropriate comments concerning me and my son Freddie – I am sincerely sorry that you all have chosen to focus your time and attention on my life and the life of my son,” Briana wrote. “Surely you must have better things to do than pry into the personal life of a single mom and newborn child. I am a proud new mother that is extremely joyous about my child being in this world and have shared that joy with my friends and family on a daily basis – often times through social media.”

“However, that does not give anyone the right, or an invitation to be nasty and disparaging towards me. So, please stop prying into the private and personal facts of my life and my son’s life in order to weave stories and peak public interest,” Briana continued. “The things that you discuss, and the sources that you rely on are extremely off base and unreliable. More importantly, every mature and experienced adult should know that there is always more to a story than what meets the eye – especially involving matters of the heart.”

“I am confident that in the days and weeks to come, you all will find that your negativity and venomous attacks were little more than time wasted,” Briana concluded. “In the meantime – I am hopeful that you all will respect my son’s privacy and find it in your hearts to discontinue the overwhelmingly inappropriate comments about me, my family and most importantly, my son Freddie. Thank you.”

Her logic is difficult to argue with, but I’m still a firm believer that if you want privacy, be a private person. In a world where your every last statement can reach thousands, potentially millions within minutes of posting it online you have take precautions to protect yourself if your the type who loves soaking up people’s congratulations but get pissed when they criticize you, even if that criticism is cruel. You can’t expect everyone to treat you like the princess you think you are – so take responsibility and make your social accounts private instead of waiting for the entire internet to start running on one emotion; luv. There are other emotions besides luv and when you deliberately expose yourself to the entire world they will all come flying at you a mile a minute. That’s what you asked for after all. Attention. You don’t get to decide how people pay you that attention.

    Briana who?

Those commenters attacking Briana for not having her IG private, she put it private a couple days ago. Plus, half the haters who are attacking her are following her. If you’re going to request to follow Briana don’t attack her with hate. Is that what all the haters do? Request to follow someone just bash them? Pathetic.
