Barack Obama Sings 'Happy Birthday' to Malia on July 4 (Video)

President Barack Obama gives his daughter Malia Obama a hug while on stage at the White House’s Fourth of July party on Monday (July 4) in Washington, D.C.

The President of the United States helped his daughter celebrate her 18th birthday while singing “Happy Birthday” with Kendrick Lamar and Janelle Monae on stage.

“And just because it’s a job of a father to embarrass his daughters, I’ve got one last job,” Obama said at the end of his speech. “It just so happens that we celebrate our country’s birthday on the same day that we celebrate my oldest daughter’s birthday.”
