Kate Hudson Writes Poignant Poem on Recent Shootings
Kate Hudson poses for photos while attending the Fendi Roma 90 Years Anniversary fashion show on Thursday (July 7) in Rome, Italy.
The 37-year-old actress took to her Instagram account to share a poem that she wrote following the recent shootings in Orlando and Dallas, the murders of Philando Castile and Alton Sterling, and other tragedies.
“These last months have brought so much sadness. From Alton Sterling, Philando Castile, Orlando shooting, Dallas, to terrorist attacks of late Bangladesh, Istanbul, Baghdad, Somalia. Everyday there is violence like this reported and not reported. It becomes overwhelming that there could be such hatred and senseless killing. When I can’t make sense of things I just start to write. I don’t usually share my writing but I felt a desire to put this out there. Peace ✌️,” Kate wrote as a caption to the poem.
FYI: Kate is wearing Brian Atwood shoes and Delfina Delettrez jewelry.
