Cristiano Ronaldo Injures Knee During Euro Game, Carried Off Field in Stretcher
Cristiano Ronaldo grabs his knee in pain after facing an injury shortly into the UEFA Euro 2016 final match on Sunday (July 10) at Stade de France in Paris, France.
The 31-year-old soccer star collided with France’s Dimitri Payet nine minutes into the game, but continued on with the game after receiving some treatment.
At the 17 minute mark, Cristiano needed more assistance and took a three minute break from the game before continuing on again, but he wasn’t able to move on at the 25 minute mark. The athlete was taken off the field in a stretcher and he looked visibly upset. Watch below.
