Ryan Phillippe's 'Shooter' Delayed Until Fall In Light of Recent Violence
USA has delayed Ryan Phillippe‘s upcoming series Shooter after the tragic shootings that resulted in many casualties in Orlando, Minnesota, Baton Rouge, Dallas, and more.
Variety reports that production will continue in Santa Clarita, California, but the show will not premiere this summer as originally planned. The show was originally going to premiere on July 19, and then was pushed to July 26 after the Dallas shooting. Over the weekend, a police shooting occurred in Baton Rouge, which prompted the move to the fall.
The show has a 10-episode season-one order, and is based on the Mark Walhberg movie from 2007.
