Chris Evans Calls Out Republicans After Melania Trump Speech

Chris Evans is speaking out to slam the words of some Republicans following the speech that Melania Trump gave at the Republican National Convention.

Paul Manafort, the chairman for Trump‘s campaign, said that the Clinton camp was the first to get out the news that sections of Melania‘s speech were strikingly similar to Michelle Obama‘s DNC speech in 2008.

“It’s just another example, as far as we’re concerned, that when Hillary Clinton is threatened by a female, the first thing she tries to do is destroy the person,” Manafort said in a press conference.

“Most disgusting sound bite of this campaign at 1:35. And that’s really saying something. Shame on you @PaulManafort,” Chris said in a tweet.

Later on, a RNC official used a quote from the cartoon My Little Pony to try and defend the speech that Melania gave.

“Before typing this, Twitter asked me in faded gray font, ‘What’s happening?’. I honestly don’t know anymore,” Chris tweeted along with a link to the article.
