Bill Clinton Talks About Meeting Hillary in DNC Speech (Video)
Bill Clinton hits the stage to deliver a speech during the 2016 Democratic National Convention on Tuesday (July 26) at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Penn.
The former President of the United States talked about how he met his wife, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, and how he proposed to her three times before she finally said yes.
“I married my best friend. I was still in awe after more than four years of being around her at how smart and strong and loving and caring she was and I really hoped that her choosing me and rejecting my advice to pursue her own career was a decision she would never regret,” he said.
During the speech, Bill called Hillary “the best darn change maker I ever met in my entire life” and he talked about all of her advocacy work throughout the years.
