Lena Dunhan & America Ferrera Were in Tears the Moment Hillary Clinton Became Democratic Nominee

Lena Dunham is hard at work while filming new scenes on the set of her hit show Girls on Wednesday (July 27) in New York City.

The night before, the 30-year-old actress and director took the stage with America Ferrera at the 2016 Democratic National Convention and bashed Republican nominee Donald Trump in their speech.

When Democrats elected Hillary Clinton as the first female presidential nominee of a major party, Lena and America joined in the powerful victory.

“the moment it became real,” Lena wrote along with an Instagram pic of the two of them shedding tears.
